Udam Jalan-Jalan is a new series where Udam shows up somewhere in person, and this was the first one.
We started at Lunabar, George Town, Penang, and there was really only one place it could have started. Lunabar isn't just "another cafe" to us, it is a place with real history, one we'd been visiting long before there was ever a reason to bring Udam along.
A collaboration years in the making
The heart of this pop-up was a set of postcards - words by Jasmine, drawings by Oleng. Our history go back to university, where we used to write a newspaper column together.
Different city, different decade, but somehow the same instinct to make something and put it out into the world. This time it came out as three postcards, paired with a small series of products carrying the Lunabar theme: stickers, posters, and a few pieces that only existed for this collab.

Setting up in someone else's space
There's something different about building a pop-up inside a place that already has its own life - its own regulars, its own quiet rhythm, its own staff who know it far better than we ever could.
We turned corners of Lunabar into small pockets of Udam's world: some hiding spot and a corner just for taking a breath.
We're genuinely thankful Lunabar team trusted us with their space for it.
